My name is Julie Franklin and I am a Calgary- based photographer whose main passion is capturing the beauty of my natural surroundings, as well as friends and family.

 

The concept for JMF Photography came after having the chance to visit unique destinations, allowing time for a portfolio to develop over the years.

 

Photography allows me to escape from the physical world and enter my own reality in which I can create virtually anything that I can think of. It is a way for me to gain perspective and be able to see things in a different light. It is creating something from nothing, and that in itself is both inherently satisfying and therapeutic.

 

My vision is to be able to continue creating beautiful moments that I can share and that will hopefully inspire others to do the same.
